Bible Belt Blogger: Just my luck -- Jesus' grave unveiled on my day off

I picked the wrong day to slack off. While I was spending quality time with my family in Kentucky, movie director James Cameron was announcing the discovery of Jesus' grave -- conveniently located between the final resting place of Jimmy Hoffa and the columbarium of Amelia Earhart.

"The Lost Tomb of Jesus" airs on the Discovery Channel March 4 and I may watch it -- as long as long as it doesn't feature a theme song by Celine Dion.

Hopefully, "Lost Tomb" is not as long and tedious as Titanic...

Haven't they been hashing this around since the 1980's? This drives like a retread, and I don't think it will impact my faith either way.

James White, a Reformed Baptist writer, covers the background on this at aomin.org.

If Jesus had the power to ascend into heaven after his resurrection, He would have absolutely have no trouble traveling between worlds. Wasn't there some speculation about the books of Mary that were never transcribed from the bible. Is it possible that the love Jesus and this woman shared brought him back to earth? Does this mean that there are descendants of Christ on the earth today? Wow, a whole new spectrum to contemplate. This could explain a great deal.

Jesus would also have had the power to turn Himself into a little red wagon; but He didn't do that, either.

I have often asked myself-what would be the point of Jesus fathering Children?

I can only imagine that heaven is such a place, that I would not want to leave it and come back to have an earthly home. I also can believe that my Love for God is more powerful than my love for anyone on earth

Aren't we funny today.

Editor's note: I can't match your million-volt wit, Ms. Marcia, but I'm giving it my best shot... How are things in Ohio?

Cold, with ugly dirty snow on the ground, and everyone in a bad mood; thanks for asking from your southern perch.

The basis of Jesus's teaching is love. Why wouldn't this be possible?
