Snowy March
Posted March 7, 2008
This persistent white swirling outside is making me nervous. Is this good or bad? Does this mean the flowers will delay blooming? Leave it to me to worry about the weather seven weeks before my wedding day.
Trying to beat the snow yesterday, my fiance and I traveled to a florist in Hot Springs who helped us with our daisy wedding. Thank goodness that's done.
She was very matter of fact and knowledgable and we really liked the photos of her previous work.
As I check each item off my list, I can't help but feel I'm forgetting not just one thing but dozens of important details. I suspect that's normal, but I also suspect I really am forgetting stuff. I don't care about the stuff; I just don't want to forget people. Imagine remembering a stupid daisy stamp but forgetting a person.
I need to relax and take each task as it comes, but I'm not very good at that. Maybe this wedding's a life lesson: Learning to let go. :) That's a nice thought, even as my inner critic says WALK IT OFF, GET IT DONE. Grrrr.
