— Something is flattening the crops in intricate patterns at night in western Clay County.

Residents of Delaplaine, Knobel and Peach Orchard have awakened to find three complex designs pressed into wheat fields over the past four summers.

Farmers in Clay County are more worried about their little green soybean crops than they are about little green men.
