Wine bar set to uncork in downtown Little Rock
Crush will offer international flavor, and hors d’oeuvres, but no meals
By Laura Stevens
LITTLE ROCK — The culture of wine in Arkansas will gain a new dimension with the scheduled opening Tuesday of a bar in downtown Little Rock.
The bar, Crush, will start off with about 70 wines by the bottle and 30 to 35 by the glass, plus the option to buy meat and cheese trays that will complement the wines that represent at least 10 countries.
“Certainly there are a lot of restaurants with good wine lists,” said Ben Bell, general manager of the new bar. “But that pales in comparison to a wine bar.”
