Printmaker to hold workshop at Henderson’s Art Annex

ARKADELPHIA — An engraving workshop will be held at Henderson State University from Monday, April 14, through Wednesday, April 16.
Oscar Jay Gillespie, an art professor at Bradley University, will conduct the workshop in Henderson’s Art Annex from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 9:30 to noon on Wednesday.
A lecture will follow at 1 p.m. in Room 237 of the Russell Fine Arts Center.
Gillespie heads Cradle Oak Press, a working print shop at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. His work has been exhibited regionally and nationally and is represented in numerous collections.
