Gov. Mike Beebe made 28 appointments to boards and commissions in the state, it was announced Thursday.
They are:
R. H. "Dick" Batson, Arkadelphia, to the Clark County Quorum Court, District 3. Appointment expires December 31, 2008. Replaces Wayne H. Bowen.
Deniece Beckman, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas Pygmalion Commission on Nontraditional Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2012.
Laudies Brantley, England, reappointed to the Boll Weevil Eradication Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2012.
Charles Butler, Malvern, reappointed to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2011.
Sandy Button, Pea Ridge, to the Arkansas Pygmalion Commission on Nontraditional Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2012. Replaces Jerry Bell.
Monte Callicott, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2011.
Donna Edgmon, Springdale, to the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Appointment expires June 30, 2011. Replaces Allen Craig.
Marilyn Evans, Little Rock, reappointed to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2011.
Bobby Gammill, Tyronza, reappointed to the Boll Weevil Eradication Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2012.
Dr. Jim Guldin, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Foresters. Appointment expires July 18, 2013. Replaces Nancy Young.
Jana Hayes, Fort Smith, to the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Appointment expires June 30, 2009. Replaces Michelle Wilkerson.
Dayna Hilton, Clarksville, reappointed to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2011.
Bob Holloway, Maumelle, to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Appointment expires July 1, 2012. Replaces Bill Fletcher.
Debbie Hoofman, North Little Rock, to the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2014. Replaces Bill Scruggs.
Rett Howard, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas Building Authority Council. Appointment expires July 22, 2011.
Marc Lowery, Harrison, to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2011. Replaces Arburt Robinson.
Stacey Mahurin, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Pygmalion Commission on Nontraditional Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2012.
