Coalition’s gathering at Capitol focuses on black-on-black crime

While black people make up only 12 percent of the U.S. population, they account for 45 percent of all murder victims, and 91 percent of those murdered were killed by other blacks. The Black-on-Black Crime Coalition wants to reverse that trend, it said Wednesday.
