Many summers ago, I had vowed to visit the classic major league ballparks. A few years back, we ventured a detour during a Lake Michigan beach vacation to watch the Cubs play at Wrigley Field. Since 2008 is the final season for Yankee Stadium, it was now or never for that venerable venue.
