8 Starbucks stores to close in Arkansas
The Associated Press
Eight Starbucks stores in Arkansas — including two at Rogers — are among the 600 being closed nationwide, Starbucks Corp. said Thursday.
The Seattle-based company announced earlier this month that it would close 600 company-owned stores in the U.S. starting in July and continuing through the first half of the next fiscal year. But Starbucks didn’t say at the time which locations would be shut down, until now.
A list released on the company’s site says the stores to be closed in Arkansas, in addition to the two at Rogers, are at Blytheville, Lowell, Malvern, Marion, North Little Rock and Van Buren.
Among those stores, two will close by the end of the month, the company said:
#10883 - HWY 59 & RENA
2008 FAYETTEVILLE RD
VAN BUREN, AR
#11864 - HWY 264 & DIXIELAND
105 S DIXIELAND
LOWELL, AR
