Night of fun planned by Methodist church

CONWAY — Individuals are asked to put on their thinking caps and come to First United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to find the answer to “Are You Smarter Than a Methodist Pastor?”
As part of its 100 Days of Celebrations for a new mission and ministry center, First United Methodist Church in Conway issponsoring a night of fun in the Great Hall (in the new building) for kids of all ages.
The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children, or a $15 maximum for families, for dinner and entertainment provided by the Koinonia adult Sunday school class. Proceeds will go toward the missions the Koinonia Class supports throughout the year.Over the past five years, the class has raised more than $30,000 to buy Christmas for needy families, provide Thanksgiving dinners and pay utility bills for families, support the Ozark Mission Project staff, buy a trailer for the youth program, support CASA Mount Eagle Christian Center, help supply the church food pantry and donate to victims ofhurricanes and tornadoes.
Participants may sign up for the meal during worship on Sunday morning or by calling the church office at (501) 329-3801 by Monday. Prizes will be awarded during the evening’s events.
