Clerk’s site gets personal

The Social Security numbers of certain public officials were among the first to be redacted from documents on the Pulaski County clerk’s Web site this week after concerns were raised over identity theft, leaving the numbers of thousands of other people available online.

Stories that appear in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette are available to print and online subscribers. Seven days after publication, these stories must be purchased individually for $1.95 from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette archives.
