So as not to waste any more time than we’ve already lost due to the early clock change and what is needed to finish preparing for an early Easter (yikes, two days from now), we’re just going to get to the point: Spring is here. So are the festivals.
From kites to crafts, from film to fishes, there are seasonal soirees celebrating just about everything.
We’ve assembled a lengthy but not all-inclusive list of spring’s significant celebrations for your planning purposes. For information on more events, visit www.arkansas.com.

Pioneer Craft Festival
Saturday, Pioneer Village, Rison, (870) 325-7289. Admission is $2 adults, $1 children.
Go Dutch ... Oven, that is, at the cook-off or check out the crafts, music and rides.
