INDIANAPOLIS — Democratic front-runner Barack Obama won the North Carolina presidential primary Tuesday night and declared he was closing in on the Democratic presidential nomination. Hillary Rodham Clinton narrowly won Indiana as she struggled to make up lost ground, according to The Associated Press.
