RUSSELLVILLE — Fayetteville was able to shake off enough of the rust from an eight-day break, and a one-hour rain delay, to piece together a 3-0 victory over Cabot in the quarterfinals of the Class 7A state softball tournament at Arkansas Tech on Saturday.
