LITTLE ROCK — The U.S. Navy Band Mid-South’s Jazz Ensemble will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Marianna court square as part of the city’s annual Arts in the Park event and coinciding with Armed Forces Day.

The band, 18 active duty sailors from Millington, Tenn., near Memphis, will play a program ranging from Big Band standards to modern classics. Chief musician Jon Nelson conducts.

Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner. Call (870) 295-2469.
