Merle Haggard won't be performing Friday on Riverfest's opening night because of an illness, and Sawyer Brown will replace him onstage.
The country music legend had to cancel that and three other performances this month.
Haggard was to perform at 9:30 p.m. Friday on the Budweiser Stage in NorthShore Park in North Little Rock. Shooter Jennings will still be opening the show at 7:30 p.m.
