Artwork gathering dust at touted public housing for low-income artists

The Little Rock Housing Authority has been interested in buying the Kramer School, which is modeled on artists’ cooperatives elsewhere.

Dusty graphic images, paintings and photographs hang in the shadows of the hallways of the Kramer School Artist’s Cooperative — years-old examples of the kind of work meant to draw crowds and inspire the artists who live within the former elementary school.
