Shooting reported at HSU; no one hurt, president says

ARKADELPHIA — A Henderson State University student was shot at near a dormitory Wednesday afternoon but was not injured, campus officials say.
Three suspects, none Henderson students, were apprehended a short time later.
According to Henderson spokesman Penny Murphy, the incident took place near the back entrance of Newberry dorm that is adjacent to the Oauchita Baptist University campus.
Campus police was first to be alerted.The Arkadelphia Police Department, found the suspects a short time later off campus and apprehended them.
The three are thought to be from the Little Rock area.
Murphy said a campus alert was sent to faculty, teachers and students to report that a shot had been fired. By then, she said, the suspects had already been located off campus.
