Agencies release Gwatney investigation files

The Little Rock Police Department and the Arkansas State Police released their investigative files on the Aug. 13 shooting death of state Democratic Party chairman Bill Gwatney and the subsequent chase and fatal shooting of suspected gunman Timothy Dale Johnson.

The State Police file is 310 pages, covering the 34-mile pursuit of Johnson from Little Rock to Grant County.
