PINE BLUFF — Authorities have arrested a woman accused of bilking an elderly Pine Bluff man out of $150,000.
Forty-five-year-old Rebecca Caroline Turchi was arrested Tuesday after prosecutors filed 16 theft counts against her.
Pine Bluff police say Turchi won the trust of an 84-year-old man and told him she had access to investments in which he could make a profit. But police say the investments didn’t exist.
Pine Bluff police say Turchi has used several different names, and that she and her husband recently moved to Hot Springs.
Turchi was arrested in Hot Springs and has been brought to Jefferson County.
