SEARCY — Habitat for Humanity of White County officially opens the Habitat ReStore, a retail outlet selling used and surplus building materials at a fraction of the normal cost, at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Goods are often donated by building supply stores and others.
Proceeds from the HabitatReStore will be used to build homes for families throughout White County. The store is located at 210 W. Mulberry in Searcy.
Dignitaries will commemorate the event with a nail pounding ceremony on a board, which will then be signed by each participant and placed inside the store.
