Arkansas suffered a 23-21 loss to Houston Nutt and his Ole Miss team on Saturday night in front of a crowd of thousands who booed the former Hogs coach upon his entrance.

In a white-knuckle final minute, Joe Adams recovered an on-side kick, a call that was disputed by Nutt. That didn't translate into points as the clock wound down, however.

The Razorbacks held the Rebels to 23 points, but offensive mistakes again tripped up Arkansas, despite a fourth-quarter surge.

Michael Smith ran in a touchdown in the 2nd quarter, while Lucas Miller, back after a concussion a few games back, caught an 8-yard pass for another touchdown with minutes to go in the fourth. At a minute left in the game, Greg Childs caught a long pass in the end zone for a third touchdown, but it wasn't enough.

The announced attendance was 74,168 people, making it the fifth largest crowd Reynolds Razorback Stadium has ever seen.
