The Arkansas-Tulsa game set for Saturday in Fayetteville will be televised on pay-per-view, the university announced Tuesday.
Kickoff for the homecoming game is at 1 p.m. It pits a struggling Arkansas against its second former coach in as many weeks, this time one-time offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and his No. 19 Golden Hurricane team.
This game marks the fourth pay-per-view game this season for the Hogs, and the eighth overall television appearance, with at least one more game to be televised (LSU on CBS).
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer a television option to our fans for a game that wouldn’t otherwise be televised,” Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “The positive response to our previous pay-per-view offerings as well as our continued fan support and attendance at home games made the pay per view broadcast possible.”
The game will be available through cable systems in Arkansas and Oklahoma and to small dish owners who subscribe to DirecTV or Dish Network in the two states. The cost of the pay per view broadcast is $34.99. The broadcast will also be available to purchase and watch at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
The game is also available outside Arkansas and Oklahoma via ESPN GamePlan.
