Bank collecting toys for Arkansas Children’s Hospital

CONWAY - First State Bank has two locations that will be collecting toys for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. This toy drive is being held in honor of Riley Townsell, whose mother is an employee of First State Bank/ First Data Solutions.

Riley is undergoing treatment at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

When children at Arkansas Children’s Hospital have a procedure, they get to visit the toy closet and get a prize, Donna Townsell said, and the closet is getting bare. All the toys collected in this drive will be used to fill up the toy closet.

“We have been humbled and are thankful for the outpouring of support for our family during this time,” Donna Townsell said. “People have asked what they can do to help. We feel like this toy drive will benefit many children, not only our own, and we would be honored by the communities’ support.”

Toys can be dropped of at First State Bank’s Main Office, 620 Chestnut St. in Conway, and the West Branch located at 754 Salem Road. also in Conway.

Toys are to be new and if packaged, unopened. Items for ages0-18 both male and female are needed. The hospital will not accept toys that depict violence in any way.
