Director accepts new position at Harding

— SEARCY - Harding President David Burks announced Glen Metheny as the new director of business professional studies.

Metheny will direct the Master of Business Administration program in the College of Business Administration. He will also continue to direct the Degree Completion Program at the university.

“I believe moving the degree completion program into the College of Business Administration will allow Harding to createsynergy between the two programs, which serve adult learners in the business profession,” Burks said. “I’m certainly happy that Glen has accepted this expanded leadership role.”

Previously the Degree Completion Program was part of theCollege of Education.

Metheny has been a member of the Harding staff since 1996. He was initially a member of the Admissions Office staff, serving as associate director before moving to the Degree Completion Program in 2007.
