Ex-band director sentenced in child-porn case
The Associated Press
A former Arkansas band director has been sentenced to four years in prison for possession of more than 197 pictures of child pornography.
Forty-year-old Stacy Lynn Tucker of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was also sentenced Wednesday to 25 years of supervised release. A judge said Tucker also will undergo mental health counseling and treatment.
In March, Tucker pleaded guilty in Lafayette County Circuit Court to one count of possession of child pornography. He agreed to forfeit his computer equipment.
Tucker was the band director for the Izard County Consolidated School District when arrested last year after sending a pornographic image to an Oxford police officer who was posing online as a 14-year-old female.
