— 1Climb the hill. The Hillcrest neighborhood gets fall offto a great start with its annual Hillcrest HarvestFest on Saturday. Everything kicks off with a pancake breakfast, 9-11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 N. Tyler St. After that, there will be a pet and stroller parade, jump zone, face painting, games, pumpkin painting and chef’s hat decorating, pet adoptions, a chili cook-off and plenty of music by local bands including the Salty Dogs, Kyoto Boom, The Boondogs and The Winston Family Orchestra. The party will continue well into the evening with more music. The Box Turtle’s annual fashion show, featuring seven local designers including Project Runway’s Korto Momolu, starts at 7 p.m. Most activities will take place on Kavanaugh Boulevard between Spruce and Walnut streets.

2Sizzle. Fill up on catfish and all the trimmings at the annual Camp Aldersgate Fish Fry, 4-7 p.m. Saturday. When you’re not stuffing yourselfwith fish, you can enjoy music, buy something at the bake sale or silent auction, or let the kids run wild at the children’s activities area. The camp is at 2000 Aldersgate Road. Admission is $15, $10 for ages 65 and older and children 4-11. Call (501) 225-1444.

3Bone up. Prepare for an afternoon of food and funwhen the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra brings together a love of music and a love of barbecue at Trombones and Rib Bones. Barbecue by Whole Hog Cafe will be for sale as members of the ASO meet and greet the crowds before settling in for an outdoor Americana performance in Riverfront Park, noon-3 p.m.

Sunday. Advance tickets are $10, $5 for children 5-12. Tickets at the gate are $12 and $7.

4Toast. Two wineries will hail the mighty grape withfestivals Saturday. Both vinocentric events will include activities for children.

The Chateau Aux Arc Wineaux Fest includes music, barbecue, tastings and toga contests as well as the Wine Aux-lympics games, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The Chateau Aux Arc isat 8045 Champagne Drive in Altus. Admission is $10. Visit www.chateauauxarc.com or call (800) 558-9463.

Over at the Wiederkehr Wine Cellars, cellar tours, tastings, arts and crafts, grape stomp, dancing, sing-alongs, music, polka lessons, horse and pony rides are all part of the Tyrolean fun at Weinfest. Events start at 8:30 a.m.

5Go wild. Gather at the Little Rock Zoo and havefun for a great cause with Gettin’ Down for Down Syndrome, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

This fundraising dance for the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association also includes train ride, Elvis impersonator, face painting, performances and food. Admission is $10, free for those with Down’s syndrome.

6Pedal. Get out your helmet and biker shorts and getyour wheels spinning at the Big Dam Bridge 100, 7:30 a.m. Saturday. This bicycle rideof lengths varying from 14 to 100 miles will start on North Broadway in North Little Rock. Registration fees are $30-$80 and proceeds benefit the Big Dam Bridge Foundation. A preliminary expo is at the Wyndham Riverfront hotel in downtown North Little Rock, noon-8 p.m. today. Late registration is at the Wyndham, 5:30-6:45 a.m. Saturday. 7Walk it off. If you’re a walker, not a rider, take partin the Homelessness, I Care walk, 8 a.m. Saturday at the River Market History and Nature Pavilion. Participants can walk or jog the course for the Arkansas Supportive Housing Network. Registration is $20 in advance, $30 the morning of the event. 8Power up. Motorcycles by the score have raided Fayetteville and the fun continues through Saturday. In addition to motorcycle-related vendors, poker runs and demo rides, the Bikes, Blues & BBQ Festival includes barbecue, a Kid Zone and plenty of music on Dickson Street and at the Randal Tyson Track Center, 1380 S.Beechwood Ave. The Allman Brothers Band will perform at 8 tonight at the track center, $42.50. Some events are free, but others have admission fees. Proceeds benefit a variety of local charities. Visit www.

9Drive in. The Museum of Automobiles on Petit JeanMountain has opened its gates for the annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet, Car Corral and Military Vehicle Rally, continuing through Saturday.

Automobiles for show and sale, auto parts and arts and crafts fill the museum grounds 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Admission is free. Call (501) 727-5427.

10Pick and choose. Rogers will be invaded by bridesduring the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Northwest Arkansas Bridal Fair, 12:30-5:30 p.m.

Sunday. Vendors including florists and caterers will set up shop at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center, 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway, Rogers.
