Nutt to call in for interview on Little Rock's KARN radio

LITTLE ROCK — Houston Nutt was expected to speak with newscaster Bob Steel on KARN Wednesday morning at 8:35 one day after it was learned he will become the head football coach of the Ole Miss Rebels.

At the designated time Houston Nutt sent a text message saying he was flying to Mississippi and would try again Thursday, Steel announced on his show.

An official announcement by the Ole Miss athletic department hiring Nutt is expected at noon Wednesday in Oxford, Miss.

This would have been the first broadcast interview with Houston Nutt since he resigned as head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks Monday.
