Former Hog Beck shot while driving in Memphis

Former Arkansas Razorbacks player Corey Beck was shot early Sunday night in Memphis, according to a story in the Memphis Commerical Appeal.
Beck was upgraded Wednesday to good condition from serious condition at Regional Medical Center at Memphis, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the story, Beck, 36, and friend, Timoth Wilkins, 35, were stopped at an intersection with two men wearing masks and brandishing a shotgun approached the car. Beck was shot in the hand and face during the attempted robbery, but was able to drive the car to a nearby fire station.
Wilkins was taken to Methodist University Hospital, treated and relased, according to the story.
