— Arkansas had hoped to get off to a good start at home Friday after losing its last two SEC series on the road.

So much for that idea.

Grant Dayton pitched six strong innings and Matt Hall had a double and an RBI single to lead Auburn to a 5-2 victory over Arkansas before 2,641 at Baum Stadium.
