Arkansas game against Louisiana-Monroe to be pay-per-view broadcast
By ArkansasOnline
Fans who won't be attending the Arkansas game against Louisiana-Monroe will get a chance to see it broadcast — for a price.
The University of Arkansas Athletic Department and Razorback Sports Properties announced Thursday that the game set for Saturday, Sept.6, at War Memorial Stadium will be broadcast on a pay-per-view basis.
The game is only currently available through cable systems in Arkansas and Louisiana. The cost of the pay-per-view broadcast is $34.99.
RazorVision, the subscription portion of the new Arkansas Razorbacks site, also will offer video footage of the game.
The game may be made available outside Arkansas and Louisiana via ESPN GamePlan if the game is selected for the national pay-per-view package. ESPN GamePlan will announce games for its package next week.
KATV’s Scott Inman will handle play-by-play duties for the broadcast with former Razorback Clint Stoerner serving as the color commentator. Another former Razorback quarterback, Quinn Grovey, will be the sideline reporter for both the pay-per-view broadcast and the radio network coverage.
