Arkansas lands 5 on SEC all-freshman team

FAYETTEVILLE — Linebacker Jerry Franklin is one of five Arkansas players on the Southeastern Conference all-freshman team.

The league announced the picks Thursday. Offensive lineman Grant Cook, defensive linemen Jake Bequette and Zach Stadther and return specialist Dennis Johnson were also selected from the Razorbacks.

Franklin led the team in tackles this season.

Only Georgia had more all-freshman picks than Arkansas.
