USA meet features 7 from Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Razorback track and field will be represented by seven student-athletes — Chris Bilbrew, Lane Boyer, Luke Laird, Spencer McCorkel, Duncan Phillips, Catherine White and Shelise Williams — at the 2008 USA Junior Championships, held at Columbus, Ohio. The meet will take place today through Sunday.

Bilbrew in the 800 meters, Laird in the javelin, McCorkel in the pole vault and Phillips in the 1,500 meters will compete today. Boyer will run the 10,000 meters on Saturday. Bilbrew and Phillips, should they advance, will compete in the finals of their events on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
